After a quick google it seems that the liver can regenerate some cells, even from as little as 25% of the organ. I think more investiagtion may be needed, as there seems to be some debate on the actual degree of regeneration of cells in the human body, even from recent research findings.

Is it true that the tissues of the human body could regenerate itself when diseased? I've heard that the liver is the fastest organ that could restore itself. How true is this? Kindly explain. Thanks.
